I have IMAP email setup on Thunderbird with synchronization setup (full download). I am trying to move this to another machine. When I do that TB starts properly, recognizes all the settings, folders and even my tasks / calendar. However, it starts to download all the files in all the folders again. I have 5+TB of emails, and this is causing a lot of grief. Tried searching a lot but no help.

Are you moving between two macs or between mac and Windows? Did you copy the Thunderbird folder from one computer to another?
