I have an email list, which I want to send to another for him to use, so that he may be able to use it, without having to type the whole list again.
That other user has no Thunderbird himself. He does have Excel. So:"how can I send the list (in my groups) to him? I could of course print it out... But I would much prefer to hand it to him, without his needing to type it all over again. Can I put it on a memostick? I use a PC to handle Thunderbird, with Windows 10. Thanks in advance! Scurius

Open the address book.
Select the address book to be exported in the left pane, in case there are multiple ones.
In the address book window menu bar: Tools - Export .csv format is the default.
Pick your 'memostick' (whatever that is) as destination to save the .csv file.

Export your Thunderbird address book as .csv file (comma seperated). Excel can read .csv files.

I believe you can just do the mailing list and not the entire address book if that is what you want. Just select the mailing list folder prior to starting the export.
Thank you very much. Found the Export possibility and have used it. Now I just wait to see what recipient can do with it... A memo stick is a small card in neat shape on which one can place files; USB stick? I used the Dutch term for it.
