Using the print command for a message causes the program to shutdown. There is no message. This is repeatable.

The print message comes up and I click OK. The spooling starts and the Thunderbird shuts down when the status bar approaches the half way point.

try a different printer. like sat a PDF printer. Just to see if it is the printer driver causing issues,
