while fixing password for gmail, deleted input output control line
Have two Comcast email accounts and one gmail account on widows 7.
A while ago, I had to update my password for Google. Went I went to Thunderbird, got message to
enter password. After much mucking around, I discovered Thunderbird's method but when I went to delete the old password, I highlighted the line, so ended up deleting the whole line. I assume it goes something like " mailbox:" but maybe not. I guess I was supposed to do a character at a time? So anyway I still am stuck. Can't update my address book, or send out emails out of my gmail account. My gmail comes in but I can't sent out. Also, I keep my address book in gmail and it in turn updates my thunderbird address box but no more. Ideas?

No, that's right, you delete the whole line. Do it for both incoming and outgoing.
