When bookmarking a page, how I do I stop Firefox from including a description in the bookmark's properties?

I've followed https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1055875 to remove descriptions from bookmarks already made (is this (part of) an add-on I've yet to notice?) but would prefer them not be included by default. Hoping someone knows how / where to look.

Maybe contact the creator of the Add Bookmark Here 2 extension and ask to add this feature to the extension.

Thanks for this suggestion. Add Bookmark Here 2 doesn't appear to be compatible with the Firefox engine in use here (24.9) but I guess I could try asking the developer/s of an alternative extension. I'll browse the bookmark extensions on offer again.

You're welcome.

I just noticed that the System Details list shows quite a few Shockwave Flash plugin, so you should look into that.

  1. Shockwave Flash 11.5 r502
  2. Shockwave Flash 11.6 r602
  3. Shockwave Flash 11.7 r700
  4. Shockwave Flash 11.8 r800
  5. Shockwave Flash 11.9 r900
  6. Shockwave Flash 17.0 r0

You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.

You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove older version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and possibly (re)install the latest Flash player.
