Hi:

I use pinned tabe for Facebook, Twitter, and my mail accounts. Usually, when there is a notification, it's highlighted with a blue light. In the last week, they remain highlighted so long as I'm not clicked on them whether there are new notifications or not, and this is true for all tabs. Any thoughts?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
