I keep getting a mssage to choose my adds? Help?! Where do I fix it?
I keep getting a message that I need to "opt out" or "opt in" for adds being displayed. WHERE do I fix this? I have done, twice what was recommended, but keep getting this additional window for "adds". Please help me with this since I do not want to be terminated from my internet settings.

That is a strange requirement. Do you get this message in all browsers or only in Firefox?
Could you try Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox.
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset)
Do the ad requirements continue? If not, you may want to disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on this screen:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
