Captcha no longer shows up in the new update FF 20.0
To sign into my college email requires a "captcha" FF 20.0 no longer allows "captcha" so my question is how do I fix this or do I dump FF?

Can you give a URL for the page that has the missing CAPTCHA?
Have you noticed any other issues after the update?
I can see captcha on other websites including the one to post a problem on our college website portal, but the actual email page to get to my email does not show the "CAPTCHA" so I am unable to log in to my email account for college.
I've not noticed any other problems thus far.
I've included a screen shot.
I get a Google reCAPTCHA box on that page.
Could you perform the following steps on your mail site and also on https://www.google.com/recaptcha
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:
- right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
This displays a dialog with just that site's cookies, which you can remove individually.
Then try reloading your login page. Does that help?
It did not work.
I can go to IE and Chrome and all is well. But FF is not allowing me access to captcha on the webmail log in page.
Unless this is a Windows 8 thing -- I'm comparing Windows 7 -- the next thing to check would be possible add-on conflicts.
(1) Have you updated your plugins and extensions since updating Firefox?
- Plugin updates: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
- Extension updates: orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > "gear icon" > Check for Updates
(2) A standard diagnostic to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings) is to try Firefox's Safe Mode.
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode." More info on this: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.
Does the reCAPTCHA box appear?
When I did Add-ons disabled in Safe mode it worked. So how do I find out which add on did this or what ever else may have caused it?
When you're back in normal mode, I suggest disabling all your extensions as the first step, restart, and see whether you get the same result. That would tell us it's definitely an extension. Re-enable the most essential ones and test whether the page works normally then. You can turn the others back on if you miss them. Often we tend to accumulate far more extensions than we really need for daily browsing.
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category
Note that when some are enabled and some are disabled, the disabled ones cluster at the bottom in a second alphabetical list.
Also, if you use an ad blocker, sometimes you get a strange filter rule causing problems. Try making an exception for your school's domain.
If it's NOT an extension, then we have to go hunting in custom settings.
Due to my failing memory, I need my add-ons. They save me every day.
I'm not trying to get rid of all your add-ons for more than a few minutes. The goal is to find the cause of the conflict and solve it with a settings change if we can, or a different/equivalent extension if necessary, or some kind of hack if nothing else works.
I found the culprit. It was "Blocksite Plus", I added that to be able to block sites like Google and such but I never expected this. It blocked the "Captcha" automatically. Thanks for helping through this.
God Bless and Thank You, GoNavyMike
Aha, reCAPTCHA is hosted on google.com, so that explains it. Congratulations on your detective work.
