shopping cart contents not transferring to email confirmation

Items add into shopping cart, when customer places information into ship screen and continues to credit card information on a secure server, the information in the shopping cart is missing, email confirmation only shows address of person ordering, not what they ordered. Works in IE and other browsers. Perl shopping cart

I updated firefox and information still not coming through. The shopping cart I use is a grass roots with limited support.
