I log in to Shutterfly ok but get "You must be signed in, user ID required."

more options

I can log in to Shutterfly and all appears normal. When I attempt to add pictures to share I get, "This command had an error during processing. The user id is required."

I was logged in because I had already entered my correct user id and password.

This result happens every time. When I opened my new shutterfly account, prior to the last Firefox upgrade, I did not have this error.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Could not determine which Firefox add on or extension was the problem, however resetting Firefox allowed access to Shutterfly.

Thanks for ending the frustration!
