how to delete an addres from the address bar
how do you delete an address from the address bar? I've cleared the history but the address are still on the drop down.

The AwesomeBar results you see in the Location Bar before you hit "Enter" include both history and bookmarks. Deleting history has no effect on bookmarks.
But Deleting "404 Not Found" entries from Location Bar autocomplete (AwesomeBar) through the History Sidebar or History Library list can be very useful as in Viewing the browsing history (Firefox) which describes working with your history and deleting such annoyances collectively is a lot faster than deleting them one at a time from those or from the AwesomeBar drop-down with the "Del" key.
