Why does my firefox go back a page when I scroll up with my mouse? This only started happening recently after an upgrade

I recently updated my version of Firefox, and now every time i scroll up with my mouse, the page jumps back a screen, which is really frustrating.

I am on Windows XP

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Thanks for your suggestion, but no dice, I went through every troubleshoot, still the same issue.

Any other ideas?
