Mobile account folder mappying controls and advanced server paths

ken93

On Thunderbird for Windows I can choose to have mail sent from norian.org copied to a label in Gmail, and I can have archive messages on norian.org placed in All Mail in Gmail. On Thunderbird for Android under Folder options, I don't see how to do that, since I don't see folder options under norian.org for Gmail labels.

Gemini AI said that the desktop gives deep control of IMAP server settings but the mobile app (Android is what I'm using) lacks granular per account folder mapping controls and advanced server options.

It said to check for updates to Thudnerbird for Android's account settings roadmap.

Any ideas if this is planned, or if there is another workaround?

This is the Thunderbird for desktop computers forum. You would be best off asking your question in the Thunderbird for Android forum where its experts hang out:

Thanks! I'm relatively new to Thunderbird, liking it a lot so far.

I'll do that.
