To set Mozilla Firefox as the default Browser. 1) Install Firefox from the Google Play Store. 2) Open Firefox, when prompted, select Firefox as default browser.
To select Firefox as your default browser: Menu>Settings>Set as default browser.

Firefox is a web browser and not a search engine site. A search engine is for example qwant.com, duckduckgo.com, google.com, bing.com etc.
