Bing Settings
I used to be able to make my own settings in Bing, but since the last update my settings are no longer stored. Each time I change them, when I open a new tab the BIng defaults are used. How do I get Firefox to accept my Bing preferences?

Bing settings aren't a Firefox browser settings?
Hi Les, some sites (like DuckDuckGo) let you bookmark a customized URL with your preferred settings, while others (like Google) save your choices in one or more cookies. If Bing works like Google here, maybe there is some kind of cookie block or cookie isolation that prevents the settings from carrying over between tabs/windows.
This only started with the recent 136.0.1 update?
No, but when it works ok in chrome and edge then there is something else going on in firefox that isn't going on in other browsers. Hence , it is a firefox issue!
Yes, Firefox has a different approach to Tracking Protection than other browsers, and it has Containers, so various Firefox features could be involved.
Now, when you said "No" I assume you mean it started some time ago. Do you recall around when this problem started? I assume it worked correctly in Firefox before the problem started.
Started with the last manual update to 133.0.3 last week. Tried various methods suggested on web for other browsers such as clearing cache etc, but problem remains. I have managed to change the settings to update manually, as each update brings new problems and I don 't want a new problem every week, or even at all. I guess I updated too soon! There has to be something in Firefox that is preventing the settings from being stored.
As Firefox is no longer supported why is anyone using it? As Firefox are unable or unwilling to get Bing to work, moved to Chrome where the issue doesn't occur,
Bing is a Microsoft search engine and if there is issues with it then it would reason you contact microsoft support with their search engine issue.
There is NOT an issue with Bing when using Edge or Chrome, only Firefox, so asking Bing to sort out a Firefox issue would be more useless than trying to get help from Firefox who have the problem.
