How do I Install the new update of Firefox?

Hi, I keep getting notifications that I need to update Firefox before the 14th to continue using it. I clicked on the link and downloaded Linux 64 bit (I did some research and I'm pretty sure this is the correct version for my pc), but it just went to the downloads section in the top right of my screen and now I can't figure out what to do next. I'm not very good with computers, so please make your answers as dumbed down as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Forgot to mention, I'm currently using Firefox version 118.0.2 (64-bit)

I looked at this and did some more research, and apparently linux always says "updates disabled by system administrator" and you have to manually update it from the update manager, but when I try to do that it says it "failed to fetch" and won't download.
