On a site,Firefox displays username even though I told it not to
I have a few websites I list for convenience on the top toolbar. When I go to those websites, Firefox wants to remember the usernames and passwords for each listed. Problem is that some are related to banking information, and I don't want that info displayed automatically everytime that site is opened. Went into Options to ask Firefox not to remember for that site, but it still does. I am about to take the site off the toolbar to see if that works, but would prefer to maintain the convenience of access. Any suggestions?

Hi ConfusedLO, does the site have a saved login? In case you set an new exception but didn't clear the old data, could you check again:
- Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
- Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
- Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
- Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it
In the left column, click "Privacy & Security".
Then on the right side, click the "Saved Logins" button. If the site is listed there with that user name, try removing that login.
Was that it?
Oh, by the way, when you create an exception, you need to include the protocol. So since it's a secure site:
