Win 10 update CHANGED my selected program to open jpg attachments in Thunderbird

Oh Microsoft, what a sly devil! That's twice now you've changed MY selected default programs when you update my ASUS notebook!

Since the last time this e-mail "fix" was done, my computer completely crashed. This caused the total loss everything - photos, e-mails, contacts! And now, jpg attachments in Thunderbird e-mails will NO longer open... AGAIN!

Regrettably I "lost" the solution that was last proposed in the recent crash. Please help...kind soul!

In Thunderbird check what you have at.. Options-Attachments-Incoming.
