Why are my toolbar buttons disapearing?
Since the latest update my toolbar buttons disappear without warning. I reluctantly attempted to restore the defaults in the customization area and the toolbar did go back to the default setup with the standard buttons but within a few minutes the toolbar is empty. It gets annoying adding things back only to have them disappear right away. The last couple of updates have seemed to cause more problems then they resolved. I might have to switch to Chrome while I wait for an update that fixes the problems the last update caused.

Close Firefox. Open your file browser to this hidden location:
- Mac: *~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/
- Linux: *~/.mozilla/firefox/
- Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
- *C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\
Locate the above files. Then rename or delete them. Restart Firefox.
