When using MIFI Mozilla disconnects me from the internet. I can use google chrome all day. What am I missing?

When I connect my computer to the internet at home I have no problems....But when I connect to the internet through Verizon MIFI Jetpack and try and use Mozilla after about 3 minutes it disconnects me from the internet. I have to manually reconnect and again within 3 to 5 minutes it disconnects again. It mainly happens when I am at a hotel or in the airport. I don't have this problem when I use any other browser....Only Mozilla????

The browser does not close, it just disconnects?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

While still in Safe Mode,

Type about:support in the address bar and press Enter. Under the main banner, press the button; Copy Text To Clipboard.. Then in the reply box at the bottom of this page, do a right click in the box and select Paste. This will show us your system details. No Personal Information Is Collected.
