Several sites are showing an update 38.0.6, but, my FF update says that 38.0.5 is the current version. Can someone explain? Thanks

38.0.6 was a version released to fix a bug in certain 38.0.5 builds (called Funnelcake builds). If Firefox doesn't find an update (and you are running 38.0.5) then you don't need 38.0.6.

when will be fixed logjam attack (without addons) ?? not in upcoming ff39. thanks.

Users of current and older Firefox releases can toggle these prefs to false on the about:config page to disable the cipher suites that are involved with the Logjam vulnerability.

  • security.ssl3.dhe_rsa_aes_128_sha
  • security.ssl3.dhe_rsa_aes_256_sha

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
