If "incompatible browser" messages are occurring more frequently with Firefox 10 then they did in the past, it may be time to un-archive and update How to reset the default user agent on Firefox with a new section for Firefox 10 and above.
The following issues are KNOWN. However, it's very unclear how widespread they are/are going to be. Please help by linking to forum questions with these issues in this thread so that we can evaluate if they're worth a stop-ship for.

3. The two-digit user agent may confuse some websites and users may get notifications that their browser is out-of-date. Please get URLs and we'll try to work with the sites to correct this.
I just posted a comment in that discussion, linking to this thread.

The [http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/10.0/releasenotes/ Firefox 10.0 release notes] include information on this under Known Issues (note that the [[Latest Firefox issues]] KB article links to the release notes):

''Two-digit browser version numbers may cause a small number of [https://hacks.mozilla.org/2012/01/firefox-goes-2-digit-time-to-check-your-ua-sniffing-scripts/ website incompatibilities] (see [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=690287 690287])''

Someone is mentioning problems with "Read and Write 10 Gold text help software" see /questions/918837 maybe someone could assist that user. The site is http://www.texthelp.com/UK/our-products/readwrite but at first glance it appears likely to be paid for software.
Update, I made my own enquiry, and was emailed that this is a known problem being worked on. texthelp updated the thread.

I upgraded to Firefox 10 and now the Point2Point software for property management is not functioning properly. P2P informed me that Mozilla is aware of this and that in the meantime I should go back to Firefox 9. How do I do this? Thank you.
