I want Google to be my default seracg engine, but it was taken over by something called mp3tubetoolbar. How can I get rid of this?

I used google search all the time, until recently. Now or some reason a search engine I have never heard of has taken over. It is called mp3toolbar.com. I don't want this engine, and have tried to get rid of it, without success. What can I do to alleviate this problem? How can I change it back?
