After upgrading to Firefox 3.6.3 unable to access bookmarks or bookmarks toolbar, following lost bookmarks procedure list does not help. What next?

Following a download of Firefox 3.6.3, unable to access my bookmarks or the bookmarks toolbar. Following the lost bookmarks trouble shooting list does not help. I have no Torbutton available in Add-ons /Extensions panel. My operating system is Windows XP

how can I get ALOT Home Tool Bar uninstalled? Is ir part of firefox? Should I not uninstall it?
