download settings // same folder
How can i configure the download settings so that it shows me tha same folder for saving files as the one i last used? Recently, i´ve had to select a specific folder, which now always appears when i want to save a file. Before, it was always the one i´d last used, which is much more practical for my work

Hi! You can try changing a Firefox preference to make it remember the last folder you used when saving files.
1. Open `about:config` in Firefox. 2. Accept the warning. 3. Search for `browser.download.lastDir.savePerSite`. 4. Set its value to false (create it as a Boolean preference if it doesn't exist). 5. Go to Settings → General → Downloads and enable Always ask you where to save files. 6. Restart Firefox and try saving two files to see whether it remembers the last folder.
Setting `browser.download.lastDir.savePerSite` to `false` tells Firefox to use the last download folder globally, rather than remembering separate folders for individual websites.
Important Several users have reported similar issues in Firefox 157, so this may be a regression rather than a configuration problem. If the steps above don't help, it may require a fix from Mozilla.
