Chosen solution

Just to clarify, are you using https://www.google.com/ as your home page, or the built-in home page which has a Google search bar along with a variety of Firefox-specific buttons?

Could you check your "third party" cookie setting as described in this article: Websites say cookies are blocked - Unblock them.

You posted from a different browser, so the site didn't pick up any specifics of your Firefox configuration. You can extract and post that information manually as follows:

  1. Use ONE of these methods to open the Firefox Troubleshooting Information page:
    • Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click on help Help-29 and select Troubleshooting Information.
    • Type about:support into the Firefox address bar and press the enter key.
  2. In the top left corner of the Troubleshooting Information page that comes up, you should see a button that says "Copy text to clipboard". Click it.
  3. Now, go back to your forum post (https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1019515), right-click in the reply box and select Paste from the context menu (or else click inside the reply box and press the Ctrl+V keys) to paste all the information you copied into the forum post.
