My search history is clogged with repetitions of the same search. For example I log onto my bank account and the search history shows 15 plus or minus entries. It also happens with other sites i visit often. I searched the internet about "history" and It was suggested that is check extensions and remove them. Then Just today my bank sign-in icon was gone. Sorry Im not always using the correct terminolgy.

I've used firefox for quite awhile, recently, incognito mode stopped deleting the sites visited while it's in use. It appears that none of the settings have changed. I'm told there is a box to check if you want your history while in the mode to be erased. I do not remember ever having this before and it seems counter intuitive.

my delete history has not been working since yesterday. I have not changed anything to my knowledge in settings so please help in correcting this. I have looked at settings and not sure if something changed or ?

I have not used private settings at all.
