I posted a question about 6-7 days ago and received a couple of replies. The last one (from DENYS) sent me to an article that guided me to a resolution to my problem. I had to wait a couple of days to assure me that the fix worked. I now wish to reply to the last answer (to DENYS) to let him know he helped me. I logged into Mozilla.support and found the Community Forums and scanned the entered 'asked' questions but could not find my first question (got tired of scanning forever). How do I go DIRECTLY to my first entered question? Or is there even a way? After 30 minutes of this, I can see there are a zillion questions in this support file and wonder that anyone finds time to answer them all (kudos) to you all. But I want to acknowledge that DENYS did, in fact, help me. How do I do that - DIRECTLY? Now I've put another question into the long question file (sorry). Jim Bigger

I downloaded Mozilla VPN and immediately received a message from McAfee about malicious malware. Is Mozilla really promoting Mozilla VPN or was this a fraudster trying to access my computer?

I imported my browser data,Import browser data - bookmarks, passwords, history, extensions, and auto fill data from another browser - mistakenly. Can this action be undone?

i am experiencing an issue with firefox where backup (Firefox Backup) is not working since version 148.0

problem: - when I try to create a backup, i get the error: “Hmm, there was a problem with the backup. Please try again in a few minutes.”

what I have already tried: - enabled and disabled backup password - changed the backup folder/location - cleared browser cache - tested across multiple updates (issue persists)

- backup is enabled, but I cannot create one - the error occurs every time - restarting the browser and system did not help

Firefox shutdown and updated automatically and now I have lost entire previous session, all tabs, and all bookmarks. I have reviewed all Firefox support to no avail. Nothing has worked.

I need to reset firefox/mozilla password(s) and do not know how to use the recovery key. Do I type in the recovery numbers or how do I insert the key? I do not understand the concept of "using the key". bold text

I would like to use something else than the browser is use to download firefox on my xbox. the microsoft edge browser got worse and worse. is there any way that firefox would be able to provide its serivce on the xbox series s/x? im using the series x. it just has too many flaws and works way too bad to be a standard browser imo. i havent found a way to properly download firefox on xbox, only for smartphones. a xbox series x has way more power than any smartphone, even a series s is way above it as far as i know. therefore i dont feel like there shouldnt be a firefox version for those gaming consoles, which are also commonly used to browse the web.

I am a business owner and I need to log into united health care provider portal. Mozilla will not allow me to access. After I updated to the Version 150.0, everytime I want to check something on the mac menu bar, the whole page gets pushed down. Only the toolbar used to drop before the update. Thanks for any help in advance.

When I attempt to access some sites I get the attached pop-up. But when I follow the directions it says to try again. This doesn't happen with other browsers. Is it really a protection or just a way for them to track me which is why I have Firefox?

I verified that the exact same link works fine in EDGE, so this is some kind of recent change specific to FIREFOX.

After version 149, I find I am asked to provide the Windows password in order to modify or copy saved passwords (but not fill when visiting a site). I had already set a primary password to secure my saved passwords, so this never should have happened. Turning off this setting also prompts for the Windows password. In v151, I recommend that Firefox allow the primary password to be used instead, for both managing passwords and turning off the "require device sign in" setting.

I can understand trying to force password security and encryption upon users who do not have a primary password set, but that should have been accomplished by prompting the user to set a primary password. Users with primary passwords should have been excepted from the change. "Require device sign in" should never have been an option - local system passwords are not designed for this use, and no consumer-grade app should have access to them.

As a CISSP I never recommend that anyone use browser-based password managers at all, but I do use the Firefox one for some non-critical sites. This discovery has been an annoyance, but worse, it reveals a poor understanding of security on the part of Mozilla.

I have been trying to clear out my bookmarks fro several days now and every single time they are restored. I have tried unsyncing my phone and computer and saving backups to try to force restore it to the cleaned up version but it always restores every single bookmark even to the original folder after I moved them around.

I have noticed that since around Friday, April 24th, 2026, that Youtube videos will sometimes refuse to load properly. The page for the video will come up, but buttons on the page will not load, and nor will the video. This started happening around mid-day, when prior to it, things had been fine. At first I thought it might be tied into the 'ambient mode' option on Youtube itself., But even after shutting that off, I found it was still happening at ranodm.

Is this something new Yotube is doing in their continued (idiotic) fight against ad blockers, or is there an actual glitch in the browser or, more likely, a glitch in Youtube? Like I said, this seems to occur at random and I can't trace the cause for it. I'll include a screenshot of what I'm seeing. But if anyone knows what's happening here, I'd appreciate it.

I should add that I am on Windows 11 and using the new version 150.0 for Firefox. (Congrats on that, by the way.)

I'll be honest, I keep hearing some other browser can block youtube ads innately. (Brave, I think it was called?) and while the idea is cool, I'm not giving up a browser I've used for over 20 years for it. If Firefox can find a way to implement a similar means of blocking Youtube ads innately, I;d love it. But for now, I just wanna know what the devil is happening with the site. Can anyone help?

Whenever i send a Tab from any Device to a Linux Desktop, the Linux Desktop is almost guaranteed to freeze. It doesn’t matter if that Linux Desktop is my "Dingus" PC with 2GB RAM and Wayland, or my "Workstation" PC with 16GB RAM and X11. On both Desktops, Firefox runs smoothly until it gets sent a Tab from another Device, then the whole Linux Desktop freezes. The Desktop doesn’t slow if i open the Tab on the Desktop in the “Tabs from other Devices” Sidebar instead.

Only my Linux Desktops freeze when they get sent a Tab from another Device. Android doesn’t slow when my Phone gets sent a Tab from another Device.
