.: Hello. A couple of days ago Firefox stopped displaying thumbnails of YouTube videos. I tried YouTube on other browsers and the thumbnails appeared as usual. On Firefox, they've disappeared, but only on my Windows 10 computer. The YouTube thumbnails appear on Firefox on my MacBook. The attached graphic shows what it looks like on my Win 10 computer.

Any ideas on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated. I have also searched the Internet and YouTube for a solution, but was unable to find one that works.

Hi, I am facing a problem where if i start multiple youtube videos and stop the last one that was started, then audio of all the other videos gets paused as well and the video continues, there isn't any change in the volume or in the volume tab icon. I am getting a bit frustrated here, because i tried a lot of options already and most of them just disable all audio. If anything is needed for testing or something, I will add it asap.

The bug exists since Firefox version 131.0 circa, when some things related to DPI had been changed, which I was able to guess because, without touching anything, the size/zoom of the content of the websites were slightly different (bigger). Experiencing this in both Windows and Xfce.

Steps to reproduce:

• Have a custom DPI settings in your operating system.
• Open a new Firefox window.
• Note how the Firefox window height is shorter, so yo can see about 20 pixels of your desktop background. Manually resizing the window and restarting the browser has no effect: the correct height is not remembered.

Am I the only person in the world using Firefox with a custom DPI setting in the OS? I find this hard to believe. Yet I'm experiencing this bug since one years ago. I can't stand using a different browser, but having to resize the window every time is so annoying...

I am using the Firefox browser on my iMac. Suddenly, I am not able to 'sign in' or access pages of common websites. I am getting blank pages or pages with the ever-circling ball when trying to access websites, like homedepot.com, shutterfly.com, etc. I can access them via safari.

I have gone through the Troubleshooting steps, have Uninstalled Firefox and Reinstalled, etc. What is happening with my browser?

Recently an update made it to where closing a tab group no longer works. It closes MOST of the tab group, leaving the last used one active along with a number to the right such as "+3" to show there are three more tabs hidden. This completely defeats the purpose of being able to close the tab group in the first place. In order to get around this, you have to click another tab to make it active and only then will the tab group you tried to close, actually close. Is there a way to disable this behavior so that closing tab groups actually works?

Assuming there is no fix, how can I downgrade to a previous version without losing all my settings, bookmarks, etc? Can I just uninstall the broken version and install the older version?

to summarise, upon installing the latest release in my new mac, instead of opening the link in a new tab when i right-click on it and press the T key, as was the case on my old mac, it now goes to 'translate this link to x' in the right click menu.

all the boxes in the 'translation settings' are left empty, so why do I still get this useless suggestion? how can I remove it from the menu?

and why is this supposedly 'privacy-focused browser' tracking my IP, which is the only way it could guess the language it suggests I translate my links to?

why are these stupid features not made optional?

Depuis la dernière mise à jour, Firefox me demande le mot de passe principal à chaque ouverture de Firefox. Je ferme ou j'annule et ça marche sans avoir à renseigner mon mot de passe principal. (c'est agaçant !!) La procédure préconisée par Firefox (menu-paramètres-vie privée et sécurité-identifiants et mots de passe-décocher la case à côté d'utiliser un mot de passe principal....... ) ne change rien. Merci

Why doesn't Firefox ask me to update passwords? When I change my password on a website, the update window doesn't appear. I have to do it manually in Firefox settings.

I'm experience trouble with firefox loading pages. It seems that some pages (about 1 in 10) will not load first try. Instead it results in either a "unable to connect", "Hmmm... Can't reach this page" or simply a blank page. I have not noticed any pattern in the pages on which this occurs and they all display correctly after a refresh. This problem only occurs on firefox. I have already tried disabling the proxy without any success. I'm looking for any suggestions for solving/diagnosing this issue.

Hi, I installed the latest iOS update yesterday and afterwards my firefox was mush. I tried reinstalling it already. The symptoms are as following: - can no longer use my 1password extension - YouTube and LinkedIn doesn't load at all anymore - For my agency tool Moco I can see most of the page but the menu is totally hidden to me...

Anyone any ideas what is happening?

I have 3 different profiles on my Desktop Firefox, and I'm able to change between them and even set some commands on CLI to switch between them easily, opening one or another.

Now, my question is: How can I do such a thing on mobile? I only linked my main account, and as far as I understood, I cannot link to multiple and switch on demand. Is there any way? Am I missing something?

I checked the tutorial on how to setup profiles and the profile manager doesn't seem to exist on mobile.

Neither credential works with it's associated password. When I digital sign user:17567853:0 I get the message that

And when I go to this page there is a different user name user:17863431:163, and no place to sign the developer agreement.

when I change the settings for permissions on a website adn close the settings window and reopen it, the settings go back to the default before I changed the settings...how do I save the permissions?

Every time I used Firefox, my preferred browser, I get the following message -

"Software is Preventing Firefox From Safely Connecting to This Site

nordvpn.com is most likely a safe site, but a secure connection could not be established. This issue is caused by NordVPN S.A. -ThreatProtection, which is either software on your computer or your network."

- and then prevents me from any browsing. Why does this happen? 

How do I stop/prevent it in the future? Or do I just delete NordVPN and cancel my subscription?

If settings, I have set my browser to be Startpage.com, which I have used for several years. Now, lately is seems as through Firefox is unable to locate that browser service. Is it being blocked for some reason? i have been using Firefox for a long time, and I ready appreciate their service. I know that Startpage.com a browser that is perhaps overly private, but is this wrong. I like the privacy from telemarketers.

Hi, I'm using Firefox 142 on Ubuntu 24.04. It's a fresh install. I cannot sign in icloud.com with Firefox even though it works with other browsers like Brave. I deleted all cookies and site data and disabled extensions (KeePassXC). It doesn't help. I tried in new private window. No success. I copy my password from a password manager, so, no, I haven't mistyped it.

Here's what I do:

1. Open Firefox and go to icloud.com
2. Click on the "Sign In" button
3. Enter my Apple-ID and click on the arrow on the right end of the "Email or Phone Number" field

At this point Brave behaves differently than Firefox. See below for how Brave behaves.

Firefox: -> A "Password" field appears (no buttons "Continue with Password" and "Sign in with Passkey")

1. Enter my password and click on the arrow on the right end of the "Password" field

-> Error message "Failed to verify your identity. Try again" appears. See icloud.png

Brave: -> Two buttons "Continue with Password" and "Sign in with Passkey" appear. See icloud-with-brave.png

1. Click on button "Continue with Password"

-> A "Password" field appears.

1. Enter my password and click on the arrow on the right end of the "Password" field

-> 2FA code is sent to my iPhone -> "Two-Factor Authentication" form opens... etc. complete sign in successfully

Unfortunately I cannot attach the HAR file from the login sequence because the password is included. However, I attached some screenshots from the Web Developer Tools. It seems to me that the login flow with Firefox is broken. I can't tell who's to blame, Apple of Firefox. The error message with Firefox is always the same, no matter whether I enter the correct password or rubbish. In Brave, however, there is a more precise error message when I enter a bad password.
