I'm running Firefox 122.0.1 on a Windows 10 desktop PC, with a profile which includes a userChrome.css file which makes several layout and cosmetic changes.

I also have a laptop (also Windows 10) which has an old Firefox 97.0.1 installation, and I'd like to make the same changes on this machine which I'm used to on the main computer. I copied my desktop profile to the laptop, to the same directory as its present profile, but when I rebooted Firefox the transferred profile wasn't recognised.

While doing the transfer I received error messages about some of the folders: Destination path too long. This despite the fact that the registry flag to accept extended paths is set to 1. I had to skip several folders in order to complete the transfer.

Could this be the reason why the new profile isn't being picked up? Or is it because the two Firefoxes are of different versions?

Are these legit? How can I know?

The "restore previous session" function stopped working today. My privacy and security sessions are set to REMEMBER HISTORY. I have restarted my Mac. I have the latest version of Firefox. Why does it no longer work?

The Picture in Picture feature does not work with Hulu. The picture pops out but it remains stuck into the Hulu tab. It does not float around. So it does not operate like intended. The black box is the pop out. when viewing it does have the picture. You just have to view it on the tab Hulu is opened on. Any ideas? m

I signed in to be sure to save my bookmarks and i lost them instead. When i hit sync, i wanted to backup my current bookmarks. Instead, I lost them. It reverted to the old bookmarks i had a few weeks ago. I lost all of my bookmarks from the last few weeks. HELP!

Paypal hangs when transferred from vendor site to complete purchase. Relaunching Firefox in troubleshooting mode resolves issue. Also works with Safari. What's wrong, what needs to be changed?

I don't know where to add shortcuts all at once instead of adding each one individually, I tried to search for a "shortcut folder" within the bookmarks manager and i found nothing, is there anything I can do to move opera browser's speed dial bookmarks into firefox shortcut

When trying to open sites from my email, such as usps.com, I get the following message and it will not allow me to open it even if I put the address in myself:

Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at tools.usps.com.

If you entered the right address, you can:

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

Unable to view YouTube comments using Firefox on android. I can view the comments on Opera, duckgo and chrome.

This problem started about four days ago. Comments show on the short videos but not the regular videos. When I tap on "comments" the resulting page/frame is empty.

I was attempting to pay with autofill in a shopping card and get a pop up from firefox to login first. I appreciate being protected but when I use the password for my firefox account it did not work. Confused
