I posted this and was told it was ;posted, but then I got a not found error when I tried to view it, so I'm trying again.

I set a site to use firefox as the default app for ftp not realizing ftp support was removed from the browser. I have been trying to get the dialog back that will allow me to change it. I downloaded filezilla to use for ftp. However, I am unable to get the dialog back that will allow me to change apps.

Can someone help me get the dialog back? And, before anyone suggests it, resetting firerfox to the default settings is not an option.

Firefox used to close completely when I close the last tab. The last update broke that behavior. How can I get it back the way it was? This new behavior is sick!!!

Hi! I'm on a relatively new to me (refurb) desktop computer running Win 10 Pro (64 bit)* and Firefox 143.0.3.

In the past week both Firefox and Win 10 have updated. I don't know what happened, but now when I boot up or reboot, my computer opens to MS Edge. Yuck!

Every single time I have to reinstall Firefox! Once I do that, all is well again. I have all my bookmarks back, etc.

It also keeps changing my "default to Firefox" browser setting, turning it OFF, while I'm using Firefox. I repeatedly have to keep going in and clicking to make FF to the default browser again.

Why is it doing this? How do I stop it?

Anyway, I know I can't delete Edge or uninstall it. How do I shove it back into the black hole it has lived in until now?

is there a way to prevent HTTP Basic Authentication dialog from stealing focus in about:config? It can be really annoying if a site logs me out randomly while working in another tab. Chromium browsers does not do that
