Lately I've noticed that pages loaded in non-active tabs do not update or do not work properly. For example my bank's page: I enter the URL, press ENTER and click to another tab waiting for it to load, but when I return it has not advanced. Until I keep it active it does not load. The same goes for Twitter for example, until I click the tab does not update the feed.

Before did not happen to me. Is there any preference that I control it?

Thanks

Using Firefox 66 beta on a Windows 10.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

I tried in safe mode and the problem persists :-( I tried with Twitter (it doesn't refresh the feed until I click on the tab) and online bank (i've to wait to load, if I change to another tab while it's loading the page it never ends).

Thx for trying, but I already have Multiprocess enabled (9/8 processes actually).

I'm the only one with this problem?
