How can I get rid of the transparent windows in firefox and thunderbird? See the background thru this transparency is annoying and distracting.

The transparancy of the firefox and thunderbird windows shows anything that is in the background. I want to make these window opaque so that i cannot see the background thru them.

Hi lesleyL,

One of the best things about Firefox is how easy it is to customize. You should take a look at the Use themes to change the look of Firefox Knowledge Base article. It will give you all the information you need to change the look of Firefox.

when i go to the them area and click in it there is no list of themes to choose from. I go into appearance and it just says Default 9.0. nothing else to choose from. Lesley
