Problems accessing mail from EveryMail server

hvgtt

I have had problems accessing my email server (EveryMail). Problem started about 2 weeks ago. Was no problem before. I am using unified folders. Sometimes a folder property (inbox for instance) shows all email accounts but nothing selectable. Other times an account might have only inbox selectable, other times all account labels are visible. Selecting options for deleted folder only shows inbox for most email accounts. Similar for spam.

This may or may not help, but worth a try. Sometimes the unified folders get corrrupted, and my suggestion will reset it

  1. click help>troubleshootinginformation
  2. scroll to 'profile folder' and click 'open folder'
  3. exit thunderbird\
  4. click the mail folder and delete the folder named 'smart mailboxes'
  5. restart thunderbird and recheck unified folders

That should fix the issue if the problem was unified folders.

The problem is an issue between Thunderbird and EveryMail if I believe comments on EveryMail support: "Everymail is currently experiencing known issues that prevent users from accessing their email through third-party email clients, including Thunderbird, Outlook, and Apple Mail." I am hoping that someone from Thunderbird support will give me an update and likely timetable for a fix.

If everymail is acknowledging problems, I suggest you wait. Thunderbird cannot fix an email provider's short-term problems.
