I have been receiving crash report for several days in a row, finally received Old Firefox Data folder and tried to re-install the app on my Mac. How do I get my tabs back please?

Hi Kristina, the Old Firefox Data folder would have been created when Firefox ran its Refresh function, described in this article:

Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings

The Old Firefox Data folder should contain one or more of the following:

  • sessionstore.jsonlz4 file
  • /sessionstore-backups/recovery.jsonlz4 file
  • /sessionstore-backups/backup.jsonlz4 file
  • /sessionstore-backups/previous.jsonlz4 file

Preserve the originals of these files, but you can try to get your current Firefox installation to use one of them using the steps in the following article: How to restore a browsing session from backup.
