Unable to set up new account using setup wizard for mac account

Thunderbird is a free program. There are no people sat in call centres. All monies are spent on the product. They do provide this Thunderbird Support Forum for those needing some help. Some servers now insist that whilst a normal password gets access to webmail, they insist users generate an app specific password for use in a third party app eg: Thunderbird email client.
