where are my emails today?
I am not receiving emails today? on quick examination I was directed to 'error console'..where is that? Have I done something wrong-- Yesterday I tried to access my bt emails on my mobile phone and had to change password has that stimied the receipt of emails to computer?

If you have changed password for BT email account then you need to update the stored passwords in Thunderbird.
- Settings > Privacy & Security
- Scroll down to Passwords
- click on 'Saved Passwords'
- Click on 'Show Passwords'
There will be two lines for each account - one incoming either starting with 'mailbox:// or starting with 'imap://..' and one outgoing starting with smtp://. You need to do the following for both lines.
- Right click on line and select 'Edit Password'
- Completely clear all the contents
- Carefully type the correct password
- When all done, click on 'Close'
Exit Thunderbird and wait a few moments for background processes to complete. Start Thunderbird.
