Tried resetting password, which system confirms, but when I try to sned a message the password is not accepted A message appears thus :- Sending of username did not succeed. Mail server mail.plus.net responded: Mate, the command must be one of CAPA, USER, PASS or QUIT I do not understand what this means. 

Another message can appear :- Sending of the message failed.

Unable to authenticate to Outgoing server (SMTP) relay.plus.net. Please check the password and verify the 'Authentication method' in 'Account Settings | Outgoing server (SMTP
