Closed tabs reappear when firefox is killed.

I hope you are having a great day. So anytime I open a tab, close the tab, and kill Firefox, when I open Firefox again, the tab is there, as if I hadn't closed it. So annoying. I hope there is a fix for this. Salutations.

Hi

If you open the Firefox for Android menu, select Settings and Tabs, do you have tabs set to automatically close?

I do not. The thing is I don't want the tabs to close automatically, I want to be able to close the tabs and, well, I'd like them to stay closed whenever I reopen Firefox. For some reason the tabs reappear. Please forgive me if the problem isn't clear, as I am not very good at describing this sort of things, let me know. Thanks.
