How can I get my email and email ADDRESSES to function? I set up one address@domainname.com and TRY to set up another address2@domainname.com but I get the error message: "Incoming server already exists." and therefore it won't set up or function! I have tried all the settings I know to try! It just wants ONE address per domain name but that is not right or practical when you NEED several addresses and have used them for your business!

Two days ago, before I accepted the "upgrade" it was working fine! What do I do??? I need the OLD emails and the NEW!

It should work.

Can you post your Troubleshooting Information? At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button , then select Help > Troubleshooting Information. Press the "Copy text to clipboard button" and paste the information into your reply.

No, I just want to go back to the old version where things worked! This is too complicated and TIME CONSUMING!!! and we just need an "undo" button to go back and then disable the upgrades. I'm BEGGING, as are many others!

I keep running into more and more problems with mail that won't show and I have to go to web mail for each individual account which is a PAIN!!! and I am so disabled right now by this on my BUSINESS!!! and my correspondence.

Most companies when they get new features have an "undo" button for problems like this that they encounter. Losing mail is a very personal and upsetting thing, not to mention a financial thing.

If you need to put in tiny ads to cover for paying an expert, do that! But don't string us along with a nonfunctional destructive situation, PLEASE!!! I know you know by all the responses I see searching for my answer that this is a BIG problem, not a small one.

This suggests that a profile (your data) already exists on disk but that it is not being used. And, that you are now attempting to reconstruct the profile.

It seems to me we simply need to repair the connection to the data that already exists - and the people here are capable of making that work, if you will allow them to help.

To list the profiles do Help > troubleshooting > about:profiles (near the bottom of the first section "Application Basics"). What profile names do you see listed? (for example "Profile: default", "Profile: default-release")
