I have 2 email accounts from Gmail which I view on Thunderbird. One email works fine. The other one will not open. The circle keeps spinning and I get an error message saying Thunderbird is not responding. then I get this message:

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: chrome://messenger/content/folderDisplay.js:65

Please help!

Start *Windows'* safe mode with networking enabled - win10 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode

Still In Windows safe mode, start thunderbird in safe mode - https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird

If I enable safe mode, to start thunderbird, how do a disable safe mode?

You don't have to do anything, other than restart Thunderbird. The default start state is "normal" running.

If you are asking how to start Windows in normal mode, you just reboot without doing the extra keys as startup.

What happened with the "not responding" at startup?
