How can one display the contact categories provided by CategoryManager2 in a coumn?

Unfortunately the native TB category function is not standardized so SOGO connector does not transfer the categories to the DAV-server. To do this you need to install an external category manager. How to show the standardized categories provided by the Category Manager in a column? Why are the not compatible with the native TB categories? Thx

1. I see no support in Thunderbird for a contact to be placed in a category. 2. The add-on you mention CategoryManager 2 is supported by the author here https://github.com/jobisoft/CategoryManager there is also a support email address. 3. The page for the add-on says. "If the SOGo-Connector is installed, categories will of course be synchronized with remote CardDAV servers as before"
