Some of my tool bar bookmarks have no icons. Is there a way to import or create icons?

I have Firefox 28.0. In my bookmark tool bar I generally remove the names so I can have more icons available. Some of my bookmarks do not have icons other than a blank box. I'm OK with no description next to identifiable icons and would like to have just icons (identifiable ones) so I'm looking for a way to imprt or create icons and a way to install them.
