Not sure which problem I have. Trying to downlod Firefox on Windows 8.1 Desktop. wil it work?

I hear March 15 or so for large 8.1 updates. To me 8.1 is rubbish and Microsoft did not do enough in developing it.

Windows 8.1 and windows Rt are different products. Firefox is NOT coming to Windows RT, it is available for Windows 8.1 with an optional Metro style UI coming soon
