I am using Firefox on Mac and it keeps on crashing whilst using Outlook 365 for my work email. It keeps having the "colour wheel" appear and script not respond

I am using Outlook 365 on my Macbook Pro on Firefox on Mac OS. When I am using this, after a short time, everything keeps on crashing and the coloured wheel comes up where it is not responding and there is a delay for everything (i.e. when I type an email). It then after a while comes up saying that an Unresponsive script is not working. (chrome://global/content/bindings/text.xml/:39). This does not solve the problem.
