Bookmarks Tool Bar W/Not Show ICONS ONLY ... Is There A Fix?

My bookmark tool bar shows the Icon & name of my most used spots. However, when I go into the bookmarks tool bar to choose Icons only ... it is already Icons only. When I chose Icons & text it stays the same, then when I choose Icons only it still stays the same.

I'm used to using IE and I have quite a few bookmarks Icons only. However in Firefox I can only see 4-5 of them because I can't turn the text off.

Anyone else have this problem and a fix?
