Closing and reopening Firefox 4.01 looses History, why?

In Firefox 4.01 the histiry is there, however, if I close the browser and than reopen it only the start page shows in the history.

Make sure that you do not use Clear Recent History to clear the Browsing History when you close Firefox.

Actually the Clear History box need to be unchecked in the Tools/Options/Privacy tab.
