Thunderbird stopped working Android 16
Pixel 8a, 256GB/120GB free, Android 16, Thunderbird v16.1 Thunderbird stopped sending and receiving emails after several months. My storage is not full. I also deleted messages to be sure. I checked my android settings as indictated in the troubleshooting guides and have been unable to resolve problem. I have it set to automatically download emails. Manually checking emails by using the "refresh" button does not work either.

When you test your sending & receiving server settings in TBA, do they succeed? If not, what errors are reported.
Settings > account > ... fetching mail > incoming server. sending mail > outgoing server.
Are you using oAuth authentication or plain username and password.
Some email providers such as Yahoo have recently changed and no longer accept plain user name and password. Oauth or app passwords are now required.
Who is your provider and do you connect via imap or pop3.
