I LOST EVERYTHING JUST FOR A POWER OUTAGE

Basically, a few days ago, the Firefox profiles thing popped up, and well, just another extra step. I already had my account set up, my syncing done, everything. Then there was a power outage for a few seconds, and my PC shut down and restarted, to SHOW ME how my YEARS-OLD browser had reverted to its factory or default settings. Even after re-entering my account, I haven't recovered my bookmarks, and now I have to log in to EVERY website again. Without a doubt, one of the WORST moments I've ever had using Firefox because it makes no sense that this happened just from a power outage, especially since it's happened several times before without affecting anything, but this time it was the final straw. I valued those bookmarks more than people I know in real life.

Hola Un corte de luz apaga la PC repentinamente por lo tanto los archivos que estaban abiertos podrían corromperse, esto puede o no pasar. Igualmente yo creo que se a creado un perfil nuevo, por lo tanto debería verificar si tiene mas de un perfil creado y si están los datos en el otro perfil: https://support.mozilla.org/es/kb/recuperar-datos-de-usuario

No conecte la cuenta de Sync por el momento.

Okay, la cuestión es que aparentemente por el corte de luz y de internet, Firefox de manera automática pudo haber creado otro perfil totalmente desde cero. Lo recuperé por unos artículos principalmente por el link de Gerardo que me llevó a que Mozilla guarda tus perfiles (si lo has registrado y todo eso) en la carpeta AppData, ahí habrá una carpeta de perfiles y vas ahí a revisar.

¿Cómo sé cuál es y cuál no? Primero que nada hice lo que decía un artículo de "about:profiles" en el buscador, si no te aparece nada dale a reiniciar (en mi caso normalmente), y luego te aparecerá datos, pero enfócate en el que estás "usando" actualmente (en mi caso el que no tenía nada) reviso el nombre, luego voy a la carpeta Appdata y reviso qué perfil tiene la misma fecha de donde ocurrió el apagón, lo localizo, luego le doy a crear un perfil nuevo. Mientras lo estés haciendo te preguntará por la dirección de carpeta creo recordar, en ese caso vas y copias la ruta del Appdata de tu perfil anterior (el que tenía cosas) y lo pegas, luego finalizas. Y después reinicias otra vez el firefox y vas a "about:profiles" y te aparecerá uno nuevo, le das a abrir en una nueva ventana y te debería de aparecer todo lo que tenías anteriormente.
