How can I remain the gmail record in Thunderbird when my google account is being deleted?

Hi. I have added my gmail account in Thunderbird and the server type is POP Mail Server. My team support told me that the existing gmail account will be deleted soon and will create a new gmail account with a new domain address for my use. May I know if the existing email record in Thunderbird will also be deleted once the gmail account has been terminated? How can I remain the record in Thunderbird? Thanks for the support.

Your emails in the POP account will still be there.
