Youtube layout aspect problem

I was finished watching a video and went to load the next one and when it loaded the aspect of the layout was way off.

I didn't do anything between or during video to cause a change. I have cleared cache / history / restarted firefox / restarted windows / Uninstalled and reinstalled firefox to now change. I have changed the zoom to try and fix. I notice the suggested video section gets very large and it shows the whole title of the video opposed to where it would show a bit and cut the rest off with ...

Followed links to read a bit more and went to the reddit link which made me think its just an issue with the old layout setup.

I had my youtube set to the old layout so I changed it to the new layout and that seems to have fixed it. (for now?)

It may be ugly and I may not like it but the video screen has corrected itself.

Perhaps youtube doing something to completely remove the old layout?
